Here is Me

And Here Are Other Things
Wilhelm Wundt (1832-1920; pronounced Vil•helm Voont), a Germanphysiologist, typically is credited with the founding of the first psychology laboratory in 1879, and also with establishing the first psychology journal. But there were several others at this time who also were attempting to develop a scientific psychology. They referred to themselves as "experimental psychologists" because they emphasized the importance of controlled research and the precise measurement of variables.
What the hell is that supposed to mean? Is that where you got the name of the site? What a bunch of garbage.
No. I thought of the word first and then found that crap about the German. It sounded pretty official to me, so I put it in here.So not like I actually care or anything, but how do you actually pronounce the name of this site?
I wouldn't if I were you. It sounds pretty stupid no matter how you say it. Also, it isn't a word, so you shouldn't really be trying. But if I were ever forced to say it out loud, I might go with "Vunt" (like: Cunt). But probably I would just spell it out verbally like this: V.O.O.N.T. That's the best way. There's one pronunciation I will never accept though: Long O's. As in Oooh, Soon, or Goon. Voooont. No. It should never be pronounced that way. That is offensive to me.
